How Do I know if a Planner is right for my Wedding?
A coordinator is strictly there to see that everything runs smoothly during rehearsal, wedding ceremony, and the reception. A coordinator will meet with all vendors before event to ensure that everything is planned and coordinated as the client requests. The wedding and reception should be stress free for the bride, parents, and guests. Also, if you use a coordinator you keep in mind about decorating for the event as well. The ceremony and reception site can take up to eight hours to decorate not includeing the hours of preparation before hand finding the right product.
A decorator will work with you or a coordinator to ensure the fantasy wedding of your dreams. A decorator will work with you to coordinate your colors, decorating the ceremony and reception sites, and use props to coordinate with your theme to include lots of tulle, lights, and greenery. The decorator will work with the you and/or the coordinator to ensure the florist for matching of colors and theme.
A planner takes care of everything--the coordinating before, during, and after the event. They set up the facilities, refer and interviw vendors, decorate the wedding and reception site, and ensures that all the services, vendors, and venues are taken care of. All the bride and family have to do is enjoy the day.
